Privacy Policy
Overview
Calendar Invite System (“the App”) is developed and operated by AMG. The App connects Salesforce with Google Calendar so users can create, update, and send calendar invites directly from Salesforce.
This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and how it is protected when users connect their Google and Salesforce accounts through the App.
Information We Collect
Calendar Invite System only accesses and uses the minimum data necessary to provide its functionality.
The App accesses the following information from Google Calendar through the Google Calendar API:
- Event details such as title, description, time, date, and location
- Attendee information (names and email addresses)
- Calendar identifiers required to create and update events
The App does not access the content of other Google services (such as Gmail, Drive, or Contacts).
How We Use Information
The data accessed through the Google Calendar API is used to enable the App’s scheduling and synchronization features. Specifically, we use the data to:
- Create and update Google Calendar events initiated from Salesforce
- Send calendar invites to the meeting attendees
- Display event information inside Salesforce records
- Keep Salesforce event records synchronized with Google Calendar
We do not sell, share, or use Google Calendar data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Security
The App uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication with Google.
- The App does not store Google user credentials on AMG servers.
- The App stores Google OAuth access tokens securely in Salesforce to enable continued functionality such as sending and updating Calendar invites on behalf of authenticated users.
- Event metadata (such as event name, time, and attendees) is stored within Salesforce for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- All communication between Salesforce and Google APIs occurs over HTTPS connections.
AMG implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share user data with third parties. Data processed through the App remains within the authenticated user’s Salesforce and Google accounts.
User Control and Data Access
Users maintain full control over their Google Calendar data. You can revoke the App’s access to your Google account at any time by visiting: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
If you remove the App’s access, Calendar Invite System will no longer be able to create or modify events on your behalf.
Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
Calendar Invite System complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This means:
- Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide user-facing features within the App.
- It is not transferred to third parties, it is only used in the core functionality of the application.
It is not used for serving ads.
Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our App evolves or to meet legal and compliance requirements. Updates will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent version.
